The camera gods smiled on me during my deeply researched trip to Bhutan where I was able to secure a guide who took me to the majority of sites with fertility penis paintings across the country. Most are not visible to tourists and often involved hiking through agricultural fields to get to small townships and the like. This is virtually the only complete documentation of these remarkable Keith Haring-like images in existence. They're combined with architectural photos and the people of Bhutan in both common and festival attire to show this culture is very much at home with these images and do not consider them pornographic in any way.
